On October 24, 2005, the Downtown Vancouver Association and Centre A, the Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art located in Old Vancouver, hosted a conversation to explore the idea and the opportunity to use the arts and creative expression of the Downtown Eastside as a way to break the fourth wall between us and them and demonstrate how we could create connections with art.
The interview with Steve Rosenburg describes my reason for organizing the event with Hank Bull and my contribution to the conversation I was interested in creating.
