I am Creating My Story

An exploration of Upscale, What it takes to Scale a Startup by the People who have Done It published by Tech Nation, and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harai, brings me to where I am now, and what to do next, and what to get done, and who I am, and why I am doing what I am doing, and what story I am creating.

I am creating my story, for my experience, for my reasons, for my rewards, for my sense of accomplishment, for my clients, and I don’t want to have to explain, argue, or justify my ideas and my enterprise. If I make a contribution to someone’s thinking I will have justified why I am doing what I am doing. If someone finds my ideas are ideas we have in common, ideas of community we can talk about, and explore, and create with, I will have argued for why I am doing what I am doing. And if someone understands and cares about any of my ideas, I will have explained why I am doing what I am doing.

I am creating my story. I don’t want this to be hard. I am exploring my life, and my interests, and my ideas about what I want to do, and how I want to live, and, and how I might contribute what I have learned, and experienced, and appreciated in my experience in appreciation for the contributions of all the caring people in my life to creating my experience and my story.

And if the ideas I am imagining excite someone else’s imagination and enterprise to live well, to create a story to remember, and to care about the future, I will know why I am doing what I am doing.
